The Jersey Branch of the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) is working with Digital Jersey and the States of Jersey Education department to help ‘energise’ ICT education, in order to make it a subject of choice for students.
In support of ICT education and promoting the successes of students, the Jersey branch of the Chartered Institute for IT has been running a ‘Digital Content’ competition with the schools. The competition was open to all Jersey schools and students and was designed to fit with the school curriculum. There was an excellent response, with 400 entries from students including some very innovative ideas.
The prize giving ceremony was held at the Jersey Opera House on Tuesday 17 July.
Awards were made for a number of different categories – for details of the successful entrants, their schools, and samples of their designs, see the published list of winners.
The Jersey Branch of the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) wishes to thank all sponsors of this event for their support and help in making this competition a success.
