Subject: Light touch Project Management
Speaker: Dr Stephen Chiang and David Brown
Venue: Langley room, Victoria Club, St Helier, Jersey
When it comes to project work, businesses face two challenges: deciding which are the right projects to do and understanding how to do them in the right way. This is the same for any project, business or IT. This presentation will cover aspects of both of these challenges and some of the tools we have used in recent years to help our organisations. The approach is one of ‘light touch control’, more enabling than prescriptive, designed to help deliver the business outcomes and benefits intended. It is not a complete picture, parts still remain to be filled in, but we hope it will help you.
There is no charge and BCS members may bring a guest to this event (12:00 for 12:30 start). A sandwich lunch will be available. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about this event.
