Introducing Microsoft Dynamics XRM asa Development Platform

Did you know that many of the deployments of Microsoft Dynamics CRM today are in industries not usually associated with Sales, Service and Marketing? Microsoft XRM is a powerful concept and in this talk we will hear from Simon Jackson a Microsoft Dynamics CRM ISV who will take us through understanding Microsoft Dynamics XRM and how it can be used to develop solutions for many vertical markets.

Speaker – Simon Jackson

Simon specialises in platform based development, primarily utilising Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server to deliver unparalleled and efficient solutions to clients ranging from local government, financial services regulators, trust companies, legal led finance organisations through to offshore banks. Additionally he is adept at delivering efficiency through the use of office automation. This is not the full extent of his skills, he also provides consultancy around the architecture and design of the aforementioned whilst also undertaking commissioned work ranging from website development, reporting solutions (Crystal and SQL RS) and security guidance. Simon has wide experience and knowledge in the financial, government and legal sectors.

Bob Childs has over twenty years experience in IT, and as an Itex consultant works to provide IT best practice and governance in areas such as security.

SQL Server 2008 R2 Shared datasets and why you must love them

David will guide you through the practical use of shared datasets in SQL Server 2008 R2. Attendees will gain a sense of the emerging n-tier architecture in Microsofts reporting toolset.

David has worked in the Jersey IT industry since 1996 working for governmental, financial and IT sector organisations. He has specialised for approximately ten years in the field now generally known as Business Intelligence.
